Donald A Oldt, 78, of Marlborough, Connecticut, passed away on July 20, 2024 in Marlborough Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann (MacDonald) Oldt. Born in Exeter Township, he was the son of the late George S. and Pauline Montreal (Welker-Haupt) Oldt.
Donald proudly served his country in the Army from 1965-1968 after graduating from Exeter High School. He was stationed in Germany during his enlistment. Donald worked as the Assistant Chief Deputy Prothontary of Berks County for many years. He also served as the Lieutenant Governor of the Delaware PA District of the Optimist International Club. Donald also enjoyed listening to music and singing along.
Donald is survived by his many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by his siblings.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on July 26 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am, with services beginning at 11:00am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W. Neversink Road Reading, PA 19606. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
