Eliza Drain

Eliza P. Drain, 97, of Douglassville, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Raymond S. Drain, who passed away on December 6, 2017. Born in Augusta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Elizabeth White. Eliza graduated from Birdsboro High School and was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked as a teller at American Bank for many years but most importantly she enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Eliza is survived by her children David husband of Patricia Drain of MA, Claire E. wife of Gary Ruth of Gouglersville, Eileen companion of Doug Tucker of Pottstown; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 33 S. 11th St., Reading, PA 19602.
