Melissa Lee (Michaels) Ebling, 49, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, in her home. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Charles and Linda (Neaves) Michaels, of Pittsburgh, PA. Melissa graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University. Melissa was a Special Education teacher for Reading School District and was a adjunct teacher for Reading Area Community College.
In addition to her parents, Melissa is survived by her daughters; Elayna, and Elyse. She is also survived by her siblings; Charles Michaels, Cindy Siple, Timothy Michaels, and Megan Michaels, as well as her former husband, Ahren Ebling.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday February 11, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 12, at 10:00 am in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish St. Thomas A’Becket Worship Site, 139 Gill Hall Road Claritin, PA 15025. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to charity of your choice. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
