Ernest L. Neiman

Ernest L. Neiman, 91, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in the Reading Hospital Medical Center. He was the husband of Betty H. (Dilliplaine) Neiman, his wife of 71 years. Born in Boyertown, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest C.D. Neiman and S. Rebecca Nester Marley. Ernest graduated from Boyertown High School, class of 1951. He proudly served his country in The United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Ernest worked as a maintenance electrician for Doehler-Jarvis for 23 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife, Betty, Ernest is survived by his children; Jeffrey E. Neiman (Kristin); Mark A. Neiman (Nancy Ackerman); and Steven D. Neiman (Regina). He is also survived by six grandchildren; Hannah Neiman; David Neiman; Michael Neiman; Peyton Neiman; Thomas Neiman; Paige Neiman, and his half-brother Randall J. Pence.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with services beginning at 2:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Schwarzwald Cemetery, Oley Turnpike Road Jacksonwald, PA 19606.
