Doris J. Farrara (Baker)

Doris J. Farrara, 87, formerly of Mount Penn, passed away Friday, April 11th, 2014 in St. Joseph Manor-Meadowbrook, PA . She was the widow of Chester Farrara who passed away April 18, 2006. Born in Johnstown, she was a daughter of the late George and Grace (Baker) Baker . She was a member of St Catharine of Siena R.C.C. .Doris was part owner/operator with her husband Chet of Lady Casual and CA Sport Shop for many years. She was lastly employed by Bon-Ton. She is survived by: One Daughter: Janet Marie wife of Daniel Rodenhausen of Glenside; Six Grandchildren, Two Great-Grandsons and One Great-Granddaughter and her daughter-in-laws Judy Kelly and Sandy Farrara. She was pre-deceased by two sons: Mark D. in 1993 and Ronald C. in 1996 and a brother Harry Baker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in St Catharine of Siena Chapel 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606. Friends may call from 9:00 am to10:00 am. at the Chapel. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
