Ethel Faust

Ethel I. Faust, 86, formerly of Reading, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Kutztown Manor. She was the devoted wife of Arthur H. Faust of Kutztown Manor. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Harry Shaffer. Born in Stony Creek, she was a daughter of the late George and Ida (Potteiger) Johnson. Ethel was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School in 1948 and was a bookkeeper most of her life. She loved swimming, cooking, sewing and especially line dancing. In addition to her husband, Ethel is survived by three sisters, Peggy Petri, Doris Petri and Jeanette Chance as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Markley Johnson. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
