Jan Marie Fisher (Weidel)

Jan Marie Fisher, 65 passed away peacefully August 4, 2023 in her home with her family and dog Dexter by her side. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas Fisher, who recently celebrated 41 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Warren “Jim” Weidel and Elizabeth “Dolly” Weidel. Jan was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1976. She was the CEO of the “Fisher compound” and loved her family more than life itself. Jan spent everyday surrounded by her loved ones and pets.

In addition to her spouse, she is survived by her children Nicholas Fisher, husband of Julie Fisher; and daughter Nicole Fisher, she is also survived by her sibling Michael Weidel, and beloved grandchildren Jacob & Jasiah, Adrian & Esme. Jan was predeceased by her brothers Jody & James Weidel.

Jan will be remembered for her kind loving heart and ability to make everyone around her feel loved. She will live on in all of the people’s lives she has touched.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a celebration of life beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
