Frank W. Kowalski

Frank W. Kowalski, 92, of Reiffton, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital. He was the husband of Rachel T. (DaDamio) Kowalski, with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Leopold and Mary (Zdunowski) Kowalski.

Frank was a craftsman and took pride in his 50+ years working as a brick layer. He was a Steward at the Local 5 Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers union for several decades. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family, and travelling the world. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena R.C.C.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children; Mark Kowalski Sr., of West Reading, and Michelle Delmonico-Longo, of FL, as well as his sisters; Barbara Himmelreich and Theresa Reider. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Mark Jr., Nicholas, Trent, and Demetrio, as well as 11 great-grandchildren; Leanne, Olivia, Mya, Alyssa, Ariana, Payton, Caesar, Sumyra, Julianna, Divina, Elijah. Frank was preceded in death by his 11 siblings.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Entombment will follow at Chapel of St. George Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.
