Gladys T. "Dolly" Fry

Gladys T. “Dolly” Fry, 76, of Alsace Township, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the widow of Preston H. “Slim” Fry who passed away November 4, 2000. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Henry M. and Fern E. (Rabold) Schaeffer. Dolly was a graduate of Mount Penn High School in 1956 and was a member of Zion-Spies Lutheran Church-Alsace Township. She also served as the past president of the Lower Alsace Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, past president of the Penn Coachmen Association, and the trip coordinator for the Golden Seniors of Zion Spies Lutheran Church. Dolly was the manager for M.J. Earl, Inc. and then the office manager for Hafer Equipment Petroleum for many years until her retirement. She is survived by: One Son: Jeffrey S. Fry at home; One Sister: Shirley M. wife of Randall W. Mohn, Sr. of Reading; Nephew: Randall W. Mohn, Jr. husband of Page Mohn of Birdsboro and One Grand-Nephew: R.J. Mohn, III. She was pre-deceased by her sister Mary Alice Schaeffer. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015 with funeral services being held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, April 13, 2015 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt.
