Michael P. "Mick" Gallagher

Michael P. Gallagher, 81, formerly of Pennside, passed away Monday, May 12th, 2014 in Richmond, VA. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Alexander and Theresa A. (Peifer) Gallagher. Mick was a graduate of Reading High School in 1951 and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Mick was a steel worker for Birdsboro Steel Corp. for 23 years and then for American Crane Company for 20 years, retiring in 1996. He is survived by two daughters: Kristen G. wife of Rique Flato of Richmond, VA and Erin B. McVaugh of Reading and Five Grandchildren and a brother Alexander of Reading. He was pre-deceased by his brothers James, William and Thomas and his sister Theresa Lee, The family would like to thank Mick’s niece Carol Ruppert for all her love and support.
