John A. Gaul Jr.

John A. Gaul, Jr., 93, of Reading, passed away, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township. He was the husband of the late Frances M. "Fritzie" (Stavropoulos) Gaul, who passed away February 20, 2009. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John A. Sr. and Beatrice (Weidner) Gaul. John was a member of the United States Navy, serving in WWII and Korean Conflict and was a member of St Luke's Lutheran Church. He worked as Machinist and Time Study Engineer. John is survived by one son, Randy A. Gaul husband of Teresa G. of Mount Penn and one daughter, Kimberly A. wife of Robert Lydon of Oley; three grandchildren, Jarad R. Lydon husband of Jessica, Zachary J. Lydon husband of Sara, Brandon A. Gaul husband of Jamie; and six great-grandchildren, Ava, Mia, Jayden, Camyrn, Anikyn and Penelope. John is also survived by one brother Kenneth Gaul of Mechanicsburg and one sister Barbara Jones of Exeter. A memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday June 26, 2018, from 9:30 am - 10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading.
