Frances Gelormini

Frances Gelormini, 98, of Exeter Township, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on April 25, 2014. Daughter of the late Felix and Maria Cutruzzula, Frances was born in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh on April 17, 1916. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Gelormini. Frances is survived by her children, Mary Ann Peto (late William) of Medina, Ohio; Joseph Gelormini of Smethport, Pa; Geraldine DeNinno of Chesapeake, Virginia; Louise Stec (Terrance Sr.) of Madison, PA; and Louis Gelormini (Linda) of Reading. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Albert Cutruzzula (Dorothy), Felix Jr. Cutruzzula (Betty Lou), Mario Cutruzzula (Evelyn) and sister-in-law Lois Cutruzzula. Frances was predeceased by son Nicholas Gelormini; Sisters Catherine Fusco and Mary Sandonato and Brothers Frank, Anthony and Vincent Cutruzzula. Frances was a loving Mother and Grandmother, and vivaciously lived her last 35 years of life with her family in Reading. She spent her days riding the buses, attending bingo, cooking delicious Italian meals and making lasting memories with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of St. Catharine of Siena Parish. Frances was laid to rest in Mt. Carmel Cemetery (Pittsburgh, PA) on May 2, 2014.
