Genevieve M. Fura

Genevieve M. (Puwalski) Fura, 93, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Michael C. Fura, who passed away in 2003. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna M. (Lis) Puwalski. She attended Central Catholic High School, and was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C. and St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. 

Genevieve is survived by her sons Michael J. Fura, husband of Louise, and Daniel J. Fura, husband of Doreen, her daughters Mary Ann Karavan, fiance of Fran Kiedeisch, and Jeanette Klein, wife of Michael, as well as ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Puwalski.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C., 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Catharine R.C.C. at 2427 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.
