Colin Joseph George

Colin Joseph George, 17, of Sinking Spring, tragically passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, while at home. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Ralph George and Tina (Stout) Heffelfinger. Colin was a Junior at Wilson High School where he participated in many school activities. He loved sports and played football, golf, basketball, wrestling, and lacrosse. Colin was quick-witted, with a wonderful sense of humor and an unforgettable smile. He was, most of all, a wonderful, caring, and considerate big brother. Colin left us way too young, leaving us with far too many questions and no apparent answers. He was loved and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Colin is survived by his Step-mother Kelly (Rupp) George, Step-father Nick Heffelfinger, sister Hailey George, and brother's Keegan Heffelfinger and Grayson George. He is also survived by his Grandparent's Joseph and Gloria George, Bill and Lisa Silagy, Glenn and Michele Hart, Step-grandparent's David and Susan Rupp, Robert and Susan Watrous, and John and Anna Heffelfinger.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, April 26 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, Pa 19606. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wilson Education Foundation in support of Suicide Awareness at 2601 Grandview Blvd, West Lawn 19609.
