Geraldine DeHart

Geraldine DeHart, 85, of Exeter, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 15, 2024. She was the wife of Ronald E. DeHart, who passed away in 1995. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Stella (Zuwiala) Bielski.

 Geraldine was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and was a member at St. Catharine Roman Catholic Church. She first worked at Pomeroy’s, followed by other retail stores. Lastly, she worked in customer service for Berks Cable. 

 Geraldine is survived by her children, John V. DeHart (De) of Exeter, and Diane E. (John) Giordano of Havertown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rhiannon, Jesse, Briana, Cassidy, Veronica, and John, along with eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Barbara Primus and Patricia May as well as two nieces and one nephew.

 Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday December 23, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 am at St. Catharine R.C.C., 4975 Boyertown Pike Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Catharine RCC at the above address. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
