Thomas C. Goulden ,82 ,of Exeter Township , passed away Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 in Seasons Hospice Unit of Phoenixville Hospital. He/ was the husband of Bonnie S. (Carmean) Goulden . Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA , he was a son of the late Thomas and Arline (Lange) Goulden. Thomas was a graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes Barre in 1951. He then joined the United States Coast Guard and served two years during the Korean War. Thomas then went on to finish his education and was a graduate of Bowling Green State University, Ohio in 1957 with a B.S. in Industrial Arts. He started his career at Bluffton High School in Bluffton, Ohio in Industrial Arts. He then came to the Exeter Senior High School in 1961, where he was known as "Gouldie" as the Industrial Arts teacher, where he retired from in 1993. During those years, he was the assistant football coach helping lead the team to several county championships. He also coached tennis for one year leading that team to an undefeated season and a county championship. He was inducted into the Exeter Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994. He also enjoyed working with the school musicals for several years. One of his proudest achievements was establishing the Industrial Arts "Mobile Unit". His true passions and loves were vacationing with his family to Disney, the beach and camping. During his retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife to all 50 states and many different countries across the world, and his camera was always with him. In addition to his wife, There is Three Sons: Brad L. Goulden husband of Kathy of Gardiner, NY, the late Scot T. and Daniel A. Goulden; Two Daughters: Laurie Sue wife of Ronald Zeiber and Sandra A. wife of Randal Groff both of Exeter Township. His grandchildren are Clinton and Dori Goulden, Ronald and Hannah Zeiber, Janel, Seth and Paige Goulden and Brooke and Trent Groff. The Great-Grandchildren are: Michael, Tyler, Madison, Parker and Lane. There is also one One Brother: Robert J. Goulden of Texas and his sister the late Jeanette Goulden formerly of Florida. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 2:00 pm 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2015 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn.
