Janet L. Griesemer (Fritz)

Janet L. (Fritz) Griesemer, 79, of Exeter Township, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, in Reading Hospital. She was wife of Scot E. Griesemer, of Exeter Township. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Jennie W. (Gebhart) Fritz. Janet graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 1959 and was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church. Janet was a telephone operator for Morgan Corporation for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed auctions, flea markets and attending car shows.

In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was pre-deceased by two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be at Schwarzwald Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, at the above address. If you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask.
