Rita Hafer

Rita A. Hafer, 87, of Exeter Township, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Curtis J. Hafer. Born in Oley, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Lendacki. Rita was a graduate of Oley Valley High School in 1947 and attended Albright College. She was employed by AT&T, now Lucent Technologies as a layout operator until her retirement. In addition to her husband, Rita is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann wife of Robert Ullman and one son, Gerald Potts; step-daughter Pamela Sue Hafer; grandchildren, Aleeca wife of Mike Janvarin, James husband of Jen, Lauren wife of Bill Salvatore and Nolan; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, Cyril J. Lendacki. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, John, Helen, Mathew, Raymond, Edmond, Francis and Jerome. Services private. Interment in Oley Church Cemetery-Spangsville.
