Mary Harpel

Mary J. Harpel, 89, of Birdsboro, passed away, Sunday, September 17, 2017 in her home . She was the widow of Richard L. Harpel who passed January 20, 2013. Born in Geigertown she was a daughter of the late Julius and Minnie (Hoffert) Timm. Mary was a member of the Mt. Penn Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a technician at Western Electric for many years until her retirement. She is survived by two daughters Patricia L. wife of William Welsh, Julie Marie wife of Terry Rhoads, three grandchildren Joel husband of Alycne, Billi wife of Brent, Aaron husband of Sarah and seven great grandchildren Eli, Caleb, Wyatt, Jude, Colin, Fionn and Elliott. She is also survived by one brother James Timm. A service will be held in the Mt. Penn Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses at a later date. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
