Russel A. Hart

Russel A. Hart, 89, of Reiffton, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, in Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband of Margaret A. "Peggy" (Nein) Hart who passed away September 09, 2018. The two were high school sweethearts. Born in Seyfert, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Mary Helen (Ruppert) Hart. Russ graduated from Mt. Penn High School in 1951. He proudly served his country in The United States Army where he was a paratrooper during the Korean War. After the military Russ started barbering to put himself through college. He graduated from Albright College in 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. After college, Russ worked at KBI Metals/NGK Metals until his retirement. He was a co-founder of the Exeter Little League and Exeter Legion Baseball. He loved hunting, golfing, and Tioga County, but his favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren compete in sports.

Russ is survived by his children; Russel A., husband of Debra, Scott L., husband of Regina, and Kristine H. Schmidt, wife of Jay, all of Exeter. Russ' most cherished memories were with his eight grandchildren; Travis, Emilee, Scott Samuel, Austin, Hunter, Cody, Karlee, and Carson. Russ was the youngest of five children. He is predeceased by his four brothers.
