Richard C. Hasson

Richard C. Hasson, 90, of Country Meadows Wyomissing and formerly of Maidencreek Township, passed away, Sunday, March 11, 2018. He was the husband of Arlene J. (Kershner) Hasson. Born in St. Lawrence, he was a son of the late Charles and LaRue (Weidner) Hasson. Dick graduated from Mt. Penn High School, attended Reading Business Institute and was a member of the United States Army. He loved bowling and basketball but his true passion was golf. Dick worked as a claims adjuster for Harleysville Insurance Company for many years. In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by two daughters, Lori J. Robertson wife of Russell of Fleetwood and Carol J. Hasson companion of Craig Bressler of Florida; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister Marguerite Waldman of Reading. He is predeceased by two brothers Russell B. and Arlan W. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 10:00 am -11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading.
