Tillie Henderson

Tillie F (Pawlik)(Franckowiak) Henderson, 91 of Mt. Penn, was called home to God, surrounded by loved ones, on October 10, 2016.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Francis (Belina) Pawlik.
She attended Byland Beauty School, where upon completion she worked for Nancy’s beauty shop, and then later as a self-employed hair dresser. After retiring from hair dressing, she was employed by Bills Khakis working as a quality inspector, retiring in her 80’s.
A first generation American, she loved trips to the casino, cooking, family dinners and picnics, polka music and being surrounded by those that loved her.
Everyone will miss her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and generosity.
She is survived by children Thomas C Franckowiak, husband of Maureen; Linda Kohl, wife of Thomas Kohl; and Teresa Nowotarski, widow of Richard Jr; step children Mark Henderson, husband of Sandy; Tyrone Frankcowiak, husband of Jacqueline and Donald Franckowiak, husband of Dawn. She was predeceased by step son Edward Franckowiak, husband of Barbara.
She was predeceased by first husband Bernard Franckowiak and second husband Clyde Henderson, as well as 6 siblings.
She has 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday from 6 – 8pm at Lutz Funeral Home in Mt. Penn. Services will be Tuesday at 10am at Lutz Funeral Home with burial, immediately thereafter at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. For online condolences please visit www.LutzFuneralHome.com
