Bertha L. High

Bertha L. High, 83, of Reiffton, passed away on Sunday April 12, 2015, in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the widow of Robert S. High, who passed away September 10, 2011. Born in Gibraltar, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Florence Mae (Mohr) Boone. Bertha was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School in 1950 and a member of Grace Alsace U.C.C. She worked as a Cook for the Exeter Township High School for 18 years, then she worked as a Merchandiser for American Greetings for 15 years, retiring in 2003.
Bertha is survived by: Two Sons: Scott R. High husband of Sherri L. of Exeter Township and Jeffrey W. husband of Colleen C. of Birdsboro; Six Granddaughters: Tiffany wife of Timothy Paptousis, Erin wife of Vincent Snyder, Amber, Jennifer, Stephanie, Courtney; Two Great Grandchildren: Madison and Cody; One Great Step Granddaughter Alexia and Two Sisters: Brenda L. Snyder and Bonita L. Bonanno both of Henderson, NV.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. with services beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn.
