Charles L. High, 59, born 11-24-55, departed this world peacefully on 10/2/15 at 5:50 pm to be pain free and no more suffering. His family and friends were by his side after a long brave battle with cancer in the Reading Hospital. His is survived by his loving fiancee Robin Pauley who was the love of his life. He was a great father figure to her two sons: Justin, husband of Trina and Nathan Pauley who passed away four years ago and was the light of his world and his best buddy. Nathan called him Char-Char. Charlie is also survived by Robin's six grandchildren whom he adored immensely. His parents Robert High Sr. passed away August 2013 and his mother passed away December of 2004. He is also survived by his brother Robert High Jr. with whom he resided, his sister Bonnie wife of Randy Schappich of Leesport, several nieces and one nephew and also his dog Spike. He was an all around funny, wonderful and caring guy who was always wiling to help anyone. He will be greatly missed. He enjoyed all the family times together, beaches, bingo, casinos, going to car shows, and spending time with his grandchildren who gave him so much joy. Charlie worked at CJ Tires for 20 plus years as an auto mechanic and previously at Pep Boys, Northeastern Beer Distributing and Marshall Chevrolet. We love you very much. As per Charlie's wishes, there will be no viewing or service. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
