Anna Hill

Anna V. Hill, 97, of Lower Alsace, passed away Sunday, March 6th, 2016 in her Residence . She was the widow of the late Martin W. Hill who passed away 9/8/2013. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Anna (Brophy) Nowatarski. Anna was a faithful member of St. Catharine of Siena RCC and was a graduate of St. Peter's High School in 1936. Anna was a volunteer as a cook for the St. Catharine of Sienna Convent. She also loved quilting, knitting, walking and mostly her family. Anna is survived by: two sons, Martin D. Hill husband of Christina of Mount Penn and John M. Hill of Lower Alsace Township; One Daughter: Kathy L. wife of James Mann of Florida; Six Grandchildren: Michelle, Matthew, Bridget, Amy, Michael, Carly and Peter (Pre-Deceased); Great-Grandchildren: Devon and Kennedy. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Ann Flores and her siblings, Joseph, Margaret and Loretta. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 1:00 pm 2:00 pm with services beginning at 2:00 pm in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment is private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville.
