Robert J. Hiltebeitel Sr.

Robert J. Hiltebeitel, Sr., 89, of Exeter Township, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 in the Reading Hospital. He was the widow of Mary L. (Lewis) Hiltebeitel who passed away December 1994. Born in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, he was the son of the late Robert B. and Maude (Fleck) Hiltebeitel. Robert was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and was a Purple Heart Recipient and was a member of the Oley American Legion Post #878. He worked for Conestoga Telephone for 38 years lastly as a plant coordinator. In addition to his partner of 17 years, Yvonne Keysock, Robert is survived by: One Son: Robert J. Hiltebeitel, Jr. husband of Sue of Pottstown; Four Grandchildren: Robert D., Danny and Ashley Hiltebeitel and Teyl Stark and Two Great-Grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his son David L. Hiltebeitel in 1998 and his Two Sisters Peg Wanner and June Ravel. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
