Kenneth P. Himmelberger

Kenneth P. Himmelberger, 81, of Lower Alsace, passed away, Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 in his Residence. He was the loving husband of Janet (Churan) Himmelberger who passed away October 23, 2016. Born in Lower Alsace Township, he was a son of the late Paul and Anna (Schmeck) Himmelberger. Kenneth was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School and a truck driver for most of his life retiring from Roadway Express. Along with his late wife, Kenneth loved going on fishing trips to Delaware with his family, loved watching his grandchildren play sports, loved bowling and was a huge Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Kenneth is survived by one daughter Tina wife of Dave Miller of Lower Alsace, two grandchildren Jason D. husband of Silvea of Stony Creek and Ashley E. wife of Austin Lee of VA. Three great great children Landon, Kellan, Warren who were the loves of his life, one sister Elaine widow of Melvin Gassert and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was pre deceased by sister Gloria Matthews and brother Donald Himmelberger widower of Ruth of St. Lawrence. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
