Ruth L Himmelreich (Miller)

Ruth L (Miller) Himmelreich, 91, of Oley, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wayne Himmelreich, who passed away in 2010. Born in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lizzie (Reitnauer) Miller. Ruth attended grade school at what is now Kutztown University. She was always proud to tell everyone that she went to school at a college. Ruth worked at Excelsior Brass as a core maker, retiring in 1993.

Ruth is survived by her children; Darlene Fern, wife of Paul, Ruth Witman, widow of Gerald, and Debra James, widow of William. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her daughter Bonnie Faust, her granddaughter Connie Mutter, and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 05, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
