Gail L. Hurter

Gail L. Hurter, 59, of Reading, passed away Friday, February 15th, 2013 in Berkshire Center. She was the wife of Richard J. Hurter. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Gladys (Gaul) Schlappich. Gail was a member of the Boutiques of West Lawn. Gail was a buyer for Van Bennett Foods and did inside sales for Bob Whites. She also wrote commerical lines of insurance for different insurance companies over the years. She was lastly an operator at the call center for Met-Ed. In addition to her husband, Gail is survived by: Two Daughters: Stephanie wife of Wayne Dotterer of Shillington and Melanie Hurter of Reading; Two Grandchildren: Samantha and Cameron and One Brother: Eugene Schlappich. Service s will be held in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. Mount Penn on Wednesday, February 20th, 2013 at10:00 am. Friends may call Tuesday Evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
