Joyce M. Hyatt

Joyce M. (Bergman) Hyatt, 86, of Reading, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, in Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Seifert) Bergman. She was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School, and went on to work as a secretary at CarTech for many years. Joyce loved bowling and playing BINGO and other games. She had a love of sweets, and always enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses.

She is survived by her nieces Dionn Tron, Denise McQueen, wife of David, Debra Miller, companion of Tom, and Suzy Rittenour; her nephew Chip Tron, husband of Dana, and her nephew-in-law Doug Elliot; her sister Ermyle Tron; special cousins Hazel Griffith, and Karen Greth, wife of Jim; and her dear friends Rosa and Jaidee. She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Rhoads, and her niece Dawn Elliot.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 beginning at 1:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606.
