Frank J. Jagielski, 91, formerly of Crestwood, now of Flying Hills, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 in Reading Hospital Medical Center. He was the husband of Catharine D. (Zondlo) Jagielski. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Stanley and Stella (Michalak) Jagielski. Frank was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C.--Exeter Township and the United States Navy during World War II aboard the USS Cebu. He was a very proud veteran and faithfully attended the Cebu reunions. Frank was a Past President of the Union Local #2177 of Bethlehem Steel and the Past President of the Pottstown Presidents Association. He was an avid hunter, gardner, Philadelphia sports fan and loved his family. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in Pottstown for 29 years, later Reading Tube as a General Foreman for many years, and lastly worked as a Department head for Hoffman Industries for many years until his retirement. Frank is survived by one son Stanley F. Jagielski, husband of Sharon of Exeter, two grandchildren Karen Worthington wife of Michael and Bradley Jagielski husband of Michelle. He is also survived by great grandchildren Natalie and Lucas. Frank was pre deceased by brothers Joseph and Anthony. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 10:30 am in the St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C.--Exeter Township 4975 Boyertown Pike Reading Pa 19606. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum Laureldale .In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church at 2427 Perkiomen Ave Reading Pa 1960. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
