Lucinda Dolores Jalil, 80, of Reading, passed away on January 15, 2018, at 9:40 am at the Home of her son, Bill Jalil. She passed peacefully next to her loving husband, Guillermo Jalil, and children, Bill Jalil, and Lilian Jalil, MD, and family. Born in Cuba on June 4, 1937, she was daughter to the late Francisco and Luz Fernandez. She left Cuba in 1968 and settled in Reading to have a family. She loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Lucinda worked at Baldwin Brass and raised her children. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two loving children, Guillermo "Bill" Jalil and Lilian Jalil, MD; loving grandchildren, Cesar de la Torre, Isabela de la Torre, Sophia Jalil, and Gabriel Jalil; her siblings, Bertha Torres, Fabiola Fernandez, Lucila Leal, and Maria Frees; daughter-in-law, Hiromi Jalil; sister-in-law, Pilar Jalil. She is predeceased by her two beloved brothers, Fernando Fernandez and Paquito Fernandez. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with services beginning at 2:00pm in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading. Interment will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park at a later date.
