James F. McCoy

James F. McCoy, 57, of Douglassville, passed away on September 29, 2023. He was the husband of Lisa (Care) McCoy. Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, he was the son of Robert Franklin Suggs of Aurora, Colorado and Mary Lynn (Giddings) McCoy of Narvon, Pennsylvania.

James was a graduate of Twin Valley High School class of 1984. He served his country as a United States Marine, and was a Pennsylvania State Trooper for 23 years. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed  being in the woods. He was a great husband, father, and friend and will be forever missed.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his two sons, Logan and Griffin McCoy, along with his daughter Arden McCoy. He is also survived by his sister, Betsy Fair, wife of Kenny and their two daughters, Kelsey Fair Johnston, wife of Scott and Jessica Fair.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday October 6 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, with services beginning at 4:00pm at Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
