Jane Louise Hinkle

Jane Louise Hinkle, 81, of Exeter Township, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at The Heritage of Green Hills. She was the wife of Thomas Richard Hinkle, whom she met at age 10 in fifth grade, and celebrated 61 years of marriage with. Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Arlene (Francis) DeBinder. Jane graduated from Exeter High School in 1961. She spent her working life as a school secretary for Exeter, Jacksonwald, and Lorane Schools. Jane was a member Reformation Lutheran Church, as well as the Exeter Woman's Club.

In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by her sons, Thomas Richard Hinkle Jr., husband of Tiffiney, and Steven Michael Hinkle, husband of Constanta. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jake Hinkle, husband of Katie, Joel Hinkle, and Alexa Hinkle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle and aunt Wilmer "Leftie" and Aletha Faber, who helped raise her.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with services beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606.
