Richard A. "Rick" aka "Mit" and "Katz" Katzenmoyer, 56, of Laureldale, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of Beth A. (Paris) Katzenmoyer, whom he would have shared 35 years of marriage together on October 17, and they spent every anniversary week at their favorite place in the mountain's of Clinton County, where they shared a cabin with family. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Don "Big" Morris and Maxine Morris (Specht). Rick graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1982. He was an accomplished stone mason for almost 40 years after attending Reading/Muhlenberg Votech. Taking pride in his work, it was known when Rick did a job it would be "over the top". Growing his art into his business RAK Custom Masonry, Rick later expanded his talents to include specialty stone engraving work along side Beth over the past 5 years. Rick loved to cook for his family and friends, and loved seeing them enjoy it! Rick and Beth especially treasured Thanksgiving memories made with the Mountain family. He left his mark in the mountains weeks leading up to his sudden illness doing stonework for many of his mountain family.
In addition to his wife, Beth, Rick is survived by his silbings; Mike Wood, Lisa (Katzenmoyer) and Neil Fleshood, Brent and Michelle Katzenmoyer, Lori (Haggerty) and Gary Kline, Karen (Katzenmoyer) Blankenbiller, and loving family and friends. He is loved by many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the angels at St. Joe's (Penn State Health) for their beyond wonderful care. Words could never express our appreciation. Rick maintained his humor and love throughout.
