Jackson Grover Keller

Jackson Grover Keller, 81, of Oley, passed away in his residence on August 24, 2014. He was the husband of Irene (Bieber) Keller with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in Limekiln, he was a son of the late Earl R. and Rachel F. (Snyder) Keller. Jackson was a graduate of Oley Valley High School in 1950 and the Berks Vo-Tech East Welding School. He was a member of the Pike Township Sportsman’s Relief Association and was a life member of the Oley Fire Company. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Jackson was a farmer and then worked for Earl Youse as a deliveryman. He then went on to work as a truck driver and welder for Special T Design for 28 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: One Son: Charles M. Keller husband of Susan of Fleetwood; One Grandson: Christopher M. Keller and One Sister: Fay E. wife of Leroy Bechtel of Elizabethtown. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 28, 2014 and again on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 9:00-10:00 A.M. with services beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
