Anna Kercher

Anna C. Kercher, 89, of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 in Berkshire Center. She was the wife of Frederick R. Kercher. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Carrie (Fichtorn) Fahr. Anna was a graduate of Reading High School in 1944 and was a looper for Noldy and Horst and Camp Hoisery for 41 years until her retirement. In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by: One Son: John Kercher husband of Audrey of Exeter Township; One Daughter: Cheryl Ann wife of Kevin Helzinger of Exeter Township; Six Grandchildren and Eleven Great-Grandchildren. There is also One Brother: Edward Fahr husband of Mary of Reading. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with services beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
