Kirk L. Rissmiller

Kirk L. Rissmiller, 63 of Mohnton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Linda G. (Engelman) Rissmiller, married 38 years. Born in Reading he was the son of the late Glenn C. and Shirley I. (Mintzer) Rissmiller. Kirk was a 1979 graduate of Reading High School and was a load coordinator at Landis Transportation for 30 years and most recently worked for Berk-Tek Leviton.

He is survived by three daughters; Ashley Engelman (Drew) of Mohnton, Kayla (Rissmiller) Gimont (Joe) of West Lawn and Kimberly Walton. Kirk is also survived by five grandchildren Nicholas, Ava, Aubrey, Alex, and Kade. 

Kirk was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed music and concerts, racing, animals, and casinos and gambling. He was an avid traveler, loved to collect many different things, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed spending time with his family, who will miss him dearly.

 Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading PA, 19606. Service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
