Joseph S. Klick, 90, of Reading, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Mary A. (Cinciarelli) Klick. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late George and Cecelia (Rochowicz) Klick. Joseph was a driver-salesman for Landy Towel and Linen Service, now known as Aramark. Upon retirement, he worked in the mailroom for Gilbert Associates and American Bank.
In addition, Joseph was the loving father of Jeffrey, husband of Maryann of Reading, and Marlene Barwood, widow of Gavin of Fairlawn, Ohio; dearest grandfather of Zachary of Winston-Salem, NC and Whitney (Simcik) Ravesloot, wife of Brian of Tucson, AZ; adored great-grandfather of Rowan and Aria; and dear brother of John (deceased), Richard (deceased), Paul, Thomas, Robert, Geraldine Bair, Michael, Barbara Papola and Lawrence.
Joseph cherished and loved his family above all things. He had a love for music and dancing, a pastime that brought him and Mary great joy. Until the very end, his goal was to play golf again, another pastime he routinely enjoyed with his son throughout the years. There was never a meal he didn’t enjoy, and his coffee mug was always full. Though his body was weak during his final days, his fighting spirit shined bright and will remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 am in St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C.--Exeter Township, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading.
