Donald L. Kline

Donald L. Kline, 89, of Cumru Township, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lois M. Kline, Cumru Township with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage with. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Arthur C. and Grace I. (Wahl) Kline. Donald graduated from Reading High School class of 1949 and was a member of Pennside Presbyterian Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Donald was employed by Met Ed as a Fossil Tech for 36 years, retiring in 1991.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by son David L. husband of Jeanne Kline, Mt. Penn, and daughter Donna M. Kline, Reading. He has two grandchildren David husband of Janice, Sarah wife of Adam, and three great-grandchildren Jason, Jared and Aidyn. Donald was predeceased by his brothers Rev. Kenneth L. Kline and Arthur R. Kline.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, Pa 19606. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Rd Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pennside Presbyterian Church 253 N. 25th St, Reading Pa 19606.
