Betty E. Koch (Bossler)

Betty E. (Bossler) Koch, 89, of Exeter, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Samuel Koch, Jr., who passed on April 1, 1991. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Miles M., Sr. and Anna (Hafer) Bossler. Betty was as a seamstress at the Berkshire Knitting Mills and then worked at Penn Optical. She finally retired from Lucent Technologies, where she had been employed for many years. Betty graduated from Mt. Penn High School. She was member of the senior bowling league, enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. Betty is survived by her daughter Bambi J. wife of Jeffrey P. Rigby, Exeter; grandson Austin K. fiance of Amanda Jarrett; brothers Miles M., Jr. and Dwight Bossler; and sisters Joan Bretz and Heather Shustack. She is predeceased by her brother Dale Bossler.
