Nancy J. Koch

Nancy J. Koch 70 of Alsace Twp. passed away March 13th, 2013 in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of George C. Koch, Sr. Born in Reading she was a daughter of the late Ralph T. and Mildred F. (Schell) Martin. Nancy was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School and a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stony Creek Mills. She was involved over the years with the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts. Nancy worked at Wilson Products as a secretary and then was a machine operator for Alsace Textiles for many years until retiring.
In addition to her husband survivors include sons-George C. Koch, Jr. husband of Catherine of Centerport, Thomas C. Koch of Alsace Twp. and Patrick M. Koch husband of Suzanne of Oley. Daughter Debra A. wife of Joseph F. Neidert, Jr. of Alsace Twp.
Nancy was the loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Brother Ralph T. Martin, Jr. husband of Joanne of Mount Joy and a sister Patricia wife of Galen Fisher of Reading. She was pre-deceased by a sister Barbara Martin.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 19th at 7:00 pm at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1375 Friedensburg Rd., Reading, PA 19606. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church at the above address. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
