Jane V. Kostival (Moyer)

Jane V. (Moyer) Kostival, 99, formerly of Mt. Penn , passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020, in ManorCare Health Services-Sinking Spring. She was the widow of John M. Kostival who passed away April 22, 1971. Born on the Fourth of July, 1921 in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Beaulah (Fisher) Moyer. Jane was a 1939 graduate of Mount Penn High and was a most-recent member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stony Creek, as well as a long-time former member of Trinity U.C.C, Mount Penn. She enjoyed knitting, ceramics and Bus Trips. Being the loving owner of five dogs over the past few decades, Jane had a special fondness for poodles. Jane was employed as a secretary for the former Ensslens, which later became B and J Saylor in Reading for many years until her retirement.

Jane is survived by one daughter Candace Kostival of Exeter Twp. She was pre deceased by her siblings; Dorothy Homan, Mildred Rahn, Leon Moyer, Stewart Moyer, Woodrow Moyer and Robert Moyer. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on December 11, 2020 from 11:00 am to 12:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt. Penn 19606. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 noon at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League 58 Kennel Rd.
