Robert (Bob) E. Kramer, age 55, a Berks County resident, passed away unexpectedly Thursday June 21st.
He is survived by and is the son of Nancy Gold of Ardmore and Howard Kramer and spouse Cindy of Lancaster, PA. And the loving husband of Cheryl (Sherry, nee Barley,) and the father of sons, Logan and Parker.
Bob is also survived by siblings Steve Kramer and spouse Francisco Ferenczi, Ira and spouse Amy Kramer, Mitchell Fishman and spouse Merril Gilbert, sister Lisa Gold and partner James Lombardi, and brothers Jason Kramer and Aaron Kramer along with many nieces and nephews and granddog, Max.
Bob was a 30-plus year member of the PGA, specializing in teaching. He worked with some of the finest players in the world, encompassing all three major tours. He was a Golf Digest Magazine Top Teacher in Pa, Best of Philly, and a two-time PGA Teacher of the Year in the Philadelphia section. He was proud to represent Indian Valley Country Club in Telford Pa, as their Director of Golf.
He thoroughly enjoyed working with many junior players, helping them achieve their goals as well as instilling life lessons. A coach and teacher at heart, Bob also coached youth basketball for a numerous years in the Exeter School District as well as youth Sunday School classes in the area.
An energetic guy, he always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humor. Bob was the definition of living life to its fullest. He loved the moment of joy when hooking a big fish on the Unami Creek, taking a canoe ride with his kids, enjoying the music of local musicians and working as a golf coach with FCA camps.
His spirit of light, generosity, leadership, and passion will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held on Saturday June 30th at Exeter Bible Fellowship in Birdsboro, beginning at 11:30 AM for visitation with the family, followed by the Celebration Of Life at 1:00 PM.
