Betty Lamma

Betty J. Lamma, 87 ,of Reading , passed away, Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 in Elmcroft of Reading Assisted Living Facility, Exeter Township. She was the wife of William Lamma who passed away February 2, 2000. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Barbara (Deeds) Kemp. Betty was a 1946 graduate of Reading High School. She was a part time hair dresser for many years retiring in 1990 and was a member of St. Andrews U.C.C Reading. Betty is survived by one son William D. Lamma III of Sinking Spring, two daughters Peggy J. (Lamma) Allgaier of Pennside, Margie D. (Lamma) Shearer of Lower Pottsgrove, six grandchildren, three great grand daughters, and two great grandsons and one step great granddaughter. Also surviving is one brother Gerard Kemp of Linstead. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with service beginning at 11:00 am on Monday January 18, in the Lutz Funeral Home Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt Penn.
