Laura B. Fry

Laura Bell (Drippe) Fry, 91, of Hamburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Laurel Center. She was the wife of Levi Z. Fry, with whom she celebrated 69 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gordon S. Drippe Sr. and Laura G. (Hafer) Drippe. Laura graduated from Reading High School and was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Hamburg and Blue Mountain Chapter Order of Eastern Star , where she was a past Worthy Matron. Laura was also a notary, the past president of BPW, Business of Professional Women, and on the advisory board for Reading Rainbow Assembly #35. Laura worked for Met-Ed for 20 years as a secretary. She then became the owner of Lauralee's gift shop in Hamburg.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd., Annville, PA 17003. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
