Valerie Lech

Valerie M. Lech 74, of Exeter Township passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. Valerie was born on July 16, 1942 in Manhattan, N.Y. and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Evelyn (Brady) Lech. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. In 2006 she retired from the County of Berks where she worked as a juvenile correctional counselor for the Youth Detention Center. She was a wonderful and devoted mother and is survived by her two sons, Richard W. and Andrew D. Bolinger (Kimberlie); three grandchildren, Ryan, Ethan and Sydney and one brother, William R. Lech. She had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. She fought courageously for six years and is now resting amongst the stars.
