Bruce Edward Leinbach, 66, of Reading, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Edward J, Leinbach and Eleanor (Stunz) Leinbach Kurtz, of Colorado. Bruce graduated from Exeter Senior High School in 1976. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bruce worked for Interstate Container Corporation for many years, as well as Birchcraft Kitchens and Sunsweet Growers.
In addition to his mother, Bruce is survived by his life partner Annette Manwiller, his brother Kevin E., husband of Cherokee, of Colorado, and his sister Diane R. Cusimano, companion of Jerry Gehret, of Douglassville. He is also survived by three nephews and three nieces, his uncle Keith Stunz, and his three cats, Pookie, Walker, and Phoebe. Bruce was predeceased by a fourth nephew.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road Birdsboro, PA 19508.
