Jane L Leupold (Smith)

Jane L. (Smith) Leupold, 97, of Wyomissing, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, in Columbia Cottage. She was the wife of the late A. Robert Leupold. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Grace C. (Seitz) Smith. Jane graduated from Lancaster High School and from Stafford Graduate School in Buffalo, NY in 1943 with a degree in Senior Secretarial Science. Jane had a passion for watching the Phillies, playing bridge, and bingo, and she was a good bowler.

Jane is survived by her children; James R. Leupold, Gary C. Leupold, Sherrie L. Heck, and Nancy J. Perrini. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren that she loved spending time with.

A private graveside service will be held by the family at Berks County Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to The McKeown Foundation, which supports Alzheimer’s disease care, research, and education.
