Vivian (Burdan) Blakey Little, age 88, of Reading, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born in Pottstown, PA on March 18, 1933 to the late Levi and Mildred (Lewis) Burdan. She attended Pottstown High School. She was married to the late Arthur Blakey in 1949 and then to the late Alexander Little in 1964. Vivian loved to sing and play piano. She sang on the radio and in church choirs. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poetry.
Vivian is survived by three sons, Arthur Blakey Jr. of Reading, Clark Little of New Jersey, and Mark Little, husband of Monique, of Allentown; five daughters, March Rooks of Lauderhill, FL, Millie Brown, Frances Johnson, and Karen Blakey Little of Reading, Kathy Covert, wife of Harry, of Mt. Joy; four stepchildren, Rosa (Little) Drummond, Phyllis (Little) Wilson, Alexander Little, Jr., and Kenneth Little of Philadelphia; her sister Clairetta Bayard of West Reading. She is also survived by 54 grand, great, and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Allison Little, her son Stephen Little, who won the WBA Super Middleweight Championship in 1994. She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Lillian Henley, Bobbi Price, and Olive Nixon.
